When attempting long jumps, the landing appears to be the most challenging part. However, athletes make it seem effortless, while we know we’d likely end up with bruises or even a broken bone if we tried it ourselves. In this photo, the athlete is all smiles despite having landed in sand that probably dirtied her clothes. Clearly, she isn’t bothered by this, as her main focus is on winning gold medals. Although her position looks quite uncomfortable, the photographer skillfully captured the moment perfectly.
