The Height of Patriotism
Many individuals feel patriotic about their nations and enjoy demonstrating their loyalty by keeping their national flag with them. This person chose to express his patriotism by getting sunburned in the shape of the flag for a distinctive appearance. He likely did this to walk around the town without a shirt to display the flag. The downside to this idea is that it is temporary. The flag will fade over time, and the person will need to find other means to show patriotism. A tattoo of the national flag would have been a better idea because it is permanent.
